Snickerdoodles

1 Cup shortening
1 ½ Cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ Cup flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon soda
¼ teaspoon salt
cinnamon sugar

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Blend all dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture. Roll into
walnut-sized balls. Roll in cinnamon sugar. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
