CANTINA STYLE BLENDER SALSA

This recipe is from Our Best Bites. I love it! I’ve made only one small change to their recipe—the amount of onion. I love onion, but when we made it with 1/2 of an onion, I felt like I was eating a bowl of sliced onions—SO STRONG! Anyway, it’s simple, quick, and delicious! Annabelle eats it with a spoon!

2  (14.5 oz) cans stewed tomatoes
1/4 red onion
2 cloves garlic (1 tsp garlic powder)
Juice of 1 lime
1 handful cilantro (about 1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Chipotle Tabasco Sauce (amount varies depending on heat preference) We add a lot! Even Annabelle likes it strong.

Place all ingredients except the Tabasco in a blender. Pulse until the ingredients are chopped but not pureed. Add Tabasco sauce to taste. For best flavor, refrigerate at least 2-3 hours before serving.
