Belgian Waffles
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
3 Tablespoons Sugar
½ Teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 Large Eggs Separated
½ cup Vegetable Oil
2 cups Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron, spray with non-stick cooking spray
- In large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and cinnamon
- In a medium bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks from (you know they are stiff peaks if you lift the whisk and a nice peak remains instead of flopping over
- In a separate medium bowl, mix the egg yolks, vegetable oil, milk and vanilla extract
- Add the wet ingredients from egg yolk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well
- Fold in the egg whites
- Pour batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook til you get the yummies
- Serve immediately with whatever your heart desires, I like whipped cream + any fresh fruit + fruit syrup
