SCALLOPED POTATOES

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1⁄2 cup milk
parsley and ground red pepper to taste
4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
onion, diced
4 strips of bacon, crumbled
Fry bacon. In small mixing bowl, combine soup, milk, and sprinkle with spices. Cover bottom of casserole with potatoes, onions, bacon, and sauce. (If using a small casserole, place layers of each: potatoes, crumbled bacon, sauce, onion; repeat.) Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off oven. Leave in oven until ready to serve.
