CHILE RELLENO CASSEROLE

2 lbs. ground beef (added by Amelia)

1# Jack Cheese, sliced

1# sharp Cheddar Cheese, sliced

2  10-oz cans Ortega chopped Green Chiles

Brown ground beef and then layer the above ingredients in an 9 x 13 pan.

Order of layering:  ground beef, chiles, jack cheese, cheddar cheese

 

4 Eggs

1 can (12 oz.) Evaporated Milk

4 Tablespoons Flour

  Mix together (will be lumpy) and pour over the

   chile/cheese mixture.

   Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

 

½ Cup Tomato Sauce

½ Cup Chile Salsa

Mix together and pour over casserole when it comes

   out of the oven, then bake again 5 -10 minutes.
